Israel Esquivel is the Pastor of Hispanic Ministries of Hallmark Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Israel has been on staff at Hallmark since January 2012. Israel received his license to preach the gospel in 2006. Before starting and pastoring the Hispanic ministry at Hallmark, Israel served as music minister for 17 years at Templo Bautista Emanuel in Fort Worth, Texas, where he was a member for 20 years. He also served as youth director at the same church for 2 years. In 1998 he served as music minister for the Hispanic Tarrant Baptist Association for 2 years helping various churches grow and work together in their praise and worship teams. Israel has been pursuing an education in Biblical studies and has studied at B.H. Carroll Theological Institute. He loves serving the Hispanic community and has served in Hispanic Ministry in a bi-vocational capacity. He holds a full-time position in laboratory medicine in the department of Pathology.

Israel was born in Sonora, Texas but considers himself a Fort Worth native and is married to Estella, his wife of 25 years. They have three sons who are also involved in music ministry. A sports fanatic, Israel is a big Dallas Cowboys fan and also big Dallas Stars fan. When not doing church stuff, he likes to relax spending time with family and friends. He enjoys fishing and target shooting (pistols, rifles). He enjoys most types of music with a few exceptions. His main passion is sharing Jesus to all who will lend an ear be it from a platform or on the street. His life verse is Psalms 37:4
