From the Pastor

Dear Hallmark Faith Family,

I am thankful for you and want to take a moment to brag on you, God, and His church. We are facing an unseen foe and we are living in an unprecedented time. However, GOD is still in control and He is still working miracles and changing lives.

We are currently preparing for our fourth week back in the sanctuary. I have been blessed each week seeing new people venture back to join us. I am also thankful we have technology for those who don’t feel comfortable re-gathering yet and can join us online. Please, don’t feel pressure to re-gather before you feel comfortable.

I am excited to announce, that we are moving to PHASE THREE of our four phase re-gathering plan this Sunday. This means we are one step closer to getting back to our “New Normal”. We will still be asking you to sit in a pew that is marked with the corresponding service time (9:15 or 10:30). This allows you to feel safe and know you are sitting in a clean and sanitized seat. We will continue to clean in-between services and ask our Connection Team to wear masks. We are asking you to continue to social distance per the state guidelines. I know this is difficult, but I am proud of how well you have done in adhering to the guidelines.

I am looking forward to Father’s Day. We have two new babies who will be dedicated by their parents to the Lord. We may be baptizing on Father’s Day as well. COVID-19 has not stopped God from working and Hallmark from leading people to find and follow Jesus.

I want to close by thanking you and praising God. God has provided for His church financially. The circumstances of the first five months of the year have been unprecedented. However, God has been faithful. We have had a positive cash flow every month this year. Year to date, we have been able to see gains in our general fund and our mission fund. I credit this to the faithful giving of our faith community and the provision of our great God. If there is anything I can do to help you, please let me know. I am praying for you and look forward to getting back to our “New Normal” soon.

I am thankful for you,

Praying for you,
Pastor Jon
